OPTIONS FOR THE BURNT OUT SOLO PRACTITIONER
register

It has become increasingly more difficult for the solo practitioner to successfully and contently run a firm. Obtaining new clients is harder than ever.  Threshold motions come into the office every day.  Few cases settle for any reasonable value prior to protracted litigation. The court system is slow.  Court appearances waste valuable time and resources. The financial burden of running a practice has grown.  The stress level is high and the rewards are hard to come by.  You are working harder and harder for less money.  My name is Larry Hoffman.  I was a solo practitioner in Manhattan and Long Island for ten years.  I became one of the people described above.  I am here to tell you:

YOU HAVE OPTIONS

Topics would include (among other things):

  • Options available in selling a practice
    • How to sell a practice
    • Who to sell a practice to
    • Benefits of selling to a big firm versus a small firm (or even a combination)
    • How to monitor your cases
    • Make sure to help out with the work with all new cases brought in order to be eligible to receive a participation fee (very simple stuff: be the liason to the client, review and consult strategy for the case)
  • How to spend your time focused on bringing in more business
    • Marketing strategies
    • Utilizing your existing contacts (your client lists, legal contacts etc)
  • I will teach The  Rule of 1/3
  • Options within law related businesses to continue to earn high income utilizing your legal, personal and business contacts and legal training in an much less stressful environment
  • Sell a practice or bring in a managing partner?
  • Sell a practice or outsource cases when you file your note of issue?

I am living this outline (in greater detail) and with more options.  My stress level is way down and my possibilities are much greater than while operating my small practice.
